WISMO (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a social commerce automation platform built for Instagram sellers in India. We help sellers automate customer communication, order tracking, and post-purchase operations.

• Account information — your name, email address, Instagram business profile details, and phone number when you sign up.
• Business information — your product catalog, inventory data, order details, and customer communication history that you connect to WISMO.
• Waitlist information — your name and email when you join our early access waitlist.
• Usage data — how you interact with the WISMO dashboard, features used, and session data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the WISMO platform.
• To automate replies and order updates on your behalf via Instagram.
• To generate tracking pages and invoices for your customers.
• To send you product updates, onboarding emails, and support communications.
• To analyse usage patterns and improve platform performance.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Instagram & Third-Party Integrations

WISMO connects to your Instagram Business account via Meta's official API. We only request permissions necessary to read and send messages on your behalf. We do not sell, share, or misuse your Instagram data. You can revoke access at any time from your Instagram settings.

5. Your Customers' Data

When WISMO processes messages from your customers (e.g. order queries, tracking requests), we act as a data processor on your behalf. Customer data is used solely to provide the automation service and is never sold or used for advertising. Customers' personal information is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES at rest) and access controls. While we take every reasonable precaution, no system is 100% secure — we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials safe.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
